Graham Nash is preparing a compilation album with David Crosby, despite a years-long feud with his former Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young bandmate.
Nash tells the San Diego Union-Tribune that the album has been in the pipeline since long before his latest falling out with Croz. It features the duo singing tunes like Stephen Stills' "Love the One You're With," Jackson Browne's "Doctor My Eyes," "James Taylor's "Mexico," Carole King's "You've Got a Friend" and others.
The album does not yet have a title or a release date, though Nash suggested it might be called Harmony.
Nash has long maintained that his personal issues with Crosby has not diminished his pride in their work together. The upcoming album is not indicative of a coming reunion between the two, he says.
CSN broke up most recently at the end of 2016 with Nash and Crosby having the most significant falling out.
In 2017, Nash told Q104.3 New York's Ken Dashow that he considers his CSNY mates to be like "brothers."
"I love Crosby," he added. "I'm not talking to him right now; you know, we're not talking to each other right now. But I love him dearly."
He added in another interview with CBS that while he maintains a good relationship with Stills and Young, none of the three at the time were on speaking terms with Crosby.
Croz himself revealed last year to Howard Stern that he's reconciled on some level with Stills, though it's been years since he's spoken to Nash or Young. He said that he was largely to blame for the breakup of the band.
"I'm not looking for them to absolve me of my idiocy. You understand, man, I let all three of those guys down, totally, by becoming a junkie," Crosby said. "That's where I really did hurt them. Not just dissing their girlfriend or pissing them off. I actually did harm, and for that, you know, I've apologized a million times. And the best apology I could make was to beat [addiction] and come up and be useful again. So I'm fine."
