Rockers React To Death Of Queen Elizabeth II

The news of Queen Elizabeth II's passing reverberated around the world Thursday, especially in rock and roll where her majesty had an undeniable impact.

The Queen's near 70-year reign was the longest of any monarch in British history. Having taken the throne in 1953, Elizabeth held the throne as the rock revolution took over the U.K.

English-born rockers were quick to acknowledge Queen Elizabeth II's legacy in statements that followed the news of her death.

The likes of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Mick Jagger and Joe Elliott applauded the Queen's longevity, grace and lifetime of service to her nation and offered their sympathies to the Royal Family.

See their reactions below.
