It's National Hot Dog Day, which means plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and gas stations around the U.S. are celebrating with free or reduced-price wieners. To help figure out where to get your dog-day deal, Thrillist has put together a helpful roundup (check out more here):
- Pilot Flying J. The myPilot app has a coupon for a free hot dog or grill item--all you need to do is open the app.
- Dog Haus. New registered users of the Dog Haus app are eligible for a free Haus Dog while dining in.
- Love's Travel Stops. Get a free wiener simply by showing a barcode, which you can find on their social media accounts.
- 7-Eleven. All day, the chain's Big Bite hot dogs are on sale for just $1 each.
- Wienerschnitzel. Five chili cheese dogs are just $5 today.
- Portillo's. Through July 22, you can grab two hot dogs for a cool $5.
- Hwy 55. From 2-5 p.m. on Wednesday, customers can grab a 99-cent hot dog.
- Philly Pretzel Factory. Not only are there $1 pretzel dogs--but the first 100 customers will receive a voucher to get $1 pretzel dogs for the entire month of August.
