A previously unreleased collaboration between Eric Clapton and B.B. King was unveiled Friday to mark the 20th anniversary of the pair's Riding With the King album.

"Rollin' and Tumblin'" is one of two songs added to the album for its June 26 reissue.

Riding With the King was a longtime coming for King and Clapton, who had been friends for over 30 years before finally combining their talents in the studio. The album is a mix of blues standards and contemporary songs; it sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. and won a Grammy in 2000 for Best Traditional Blues Album.

Due to their mutual admiration, Clapton and King were often asked over the years if/when they would finally do an album together.

King told Rolling Stone in a 2000 interview that he had complete trust in Clapton's choices for what songs to record for the album. He enthusiastically talked up Old Slowhand's virtuosity.

"Of rock 'n' roll guitarists, nobody plays better than he does, and he plays blues better than a lot of us," King said.

Clapton on the other hand, considered King one of his greatest influences. In his biography, he wrote that King was "without a doubt the most important artist the blues has ever produced."

He often citing the album B.B. King Live at Regal, as a turning point in his development as a guitarist.
