Watch More Than 270 Musicians Play KISS's "I Was Made For Lovin' You"

A Russian group dedicated to bringing musicians together was at it again this spring, getting close to 300 rockers to perform an en masse version of the 1979 KISS hit "I Was Made for Lovin' You."

A video filmed in Moscow's Gorky Park on May 19 by the group RockNMob purports to show more than 270 guitarists, bassists, drummer, singers and keyboardists performing the Kiss classic in unison.

The group says it was inspired by a 2015 flashmob in Cesena, Italy, in which more than 1,000 people got together to perform Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly" in an attempt to get the band to play a concert in their town.

"We wanted to express our love to our favorite bands, to invite ones that [have] not been here for a long time and just to organize a mind-blowing gig," the group explained.

The video, which was recently shared via Twitter by Kiss front man Paul Stanley, captures a festive atmosphere at the park with hundreds of smiling musicians and onlookers.

Despite being a live staple for the band, "I Was Made for Lovin' You" remains a somewhat controversial song among Kiss fans for its embrace of disco.

As recently as last fall, bassist Gene Simmons reiterated his personal dislike of the song.

Kiss, which is currently on its 'End of the Road' farewell tour, last played Moscow on June 13.
