361 days later, a military family in Goose Creek is finally reunited. After being deployed in Bahrain for nearly a year with the U.S. Navy, Robert Millerbernd was supposed to return home in October, but gave his family the surprise of a lifetime when he returned several days earlier than anticipated. Millerbernd surprised his young family at the Park Circle Creamery, where his kids and wife received the ultimate surprise homecoming. Likely to deploy again, Robert says he looks forward to enjoying the much needed time with his family.
