Man extradited for fatal Goose Creek shooting

A man accused of murdering his wife has been extradited back to the lowcountry.

Darryl Edward Flowers, 36, is being charged for a fatal shooting on June 4th.

The incident occurred at an Elms Plantation home in Goose Creek. Officials say Flowers shot and killed his wife, Tammy Ruth Flowers, and wounded two teenagers.

Flowers was arrested in Maryland and extradited by BCSO and the US Marshals Service back to Berkeley County on June 18th.

Flowers is charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of kidnapping, and one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Flowers is being held at Hill-Finklea Detention Center until his bond hearing Thursday evening.
