Clean up is underway on East Bay Street as investigators continue to look for the cause of the April 2 fire. The fire destroyed 213 East Bay Street, and it put three area bars out of business.

Investigators pinpointed the origin of the fire to the second floor inside the bar Light. The exact caused is under investigation by an electrical engineer.

In all, 17 units responded to the fire which took more than four hours to knock down. Through the efforts, the buildings on either side were saved.

The lawyer for Squeeze, Brooks Derrick, told News 2 plans to open again are grid locked between business owners and the property owner.
